New to MOLL Mag, stunning model Emily Cole is a English girl now living in Sydney Australia. We chat with Emily on her first appearance in the modeling industry, career goals, aspirations and what it feels like to see herself in MOLL Magazine.

Tell us more about yourself: I’m an English girl, now living in Sydney Australia, and I love it! I love to travel. Any chance I get I’m away. To name a few; I’ve been trekking in Sumatran jungle, trekked the Great Wall of China, Scuba dived in Egypt, Thailand, Australia (and more), backpacked in Southeast Asia, volunteered in Sri Lanka. I believe the people you meet and places you visit help shape you into you. Through experiences you build a better sense of who you are and what you want from life.

I’ve been modelling on and off for 10 years now and still love it. It’s a chance to be creative, have fun and most of all I get a real sense of accomplishment when I see the final results of a shoot. In between modelling I’ve held a number of different jobs from a High School Science Teacher to Client Services and Recruitment. I’m always on the go and most certainly a people person.

Hometown: Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England

Current Location: Sydney, Australia

A quote that defines you:
“Dance like no one is watching, love like you’ve never been hurt before, sing as though no one can hear you and live as though heaven is on earth” We only have one life, and I certainly believe in enjoying every moment.

Where are you from?
Southend-on-Sea in Essex England, but I now live in Sydney Australia.

What is your occupation?
I work in Recruitment and I model part time

LJEPOTICA-0837What nationality are you?
British

What does it feel like seeing yourself in a magazine?
AMAZING! Its great to know that hard work and dedication pays off. I had the pleasure of working with a fantastic team on this shoot, it was lots of fun and I’ve made friends of life.

How did you get into the whole modelling scene?
Back when I was 18 and had just started uni I took the plunge into modelling back in the UK. I did this on and off whilst I was a student and loved it. Then I took a 6 year break…. yes 6 years!! It wasn’t until late 2014 when I was living in Sydney that I thought “what the hell…I’m gonna give it another shot” and I’m so glad I did.

What is your favorite part about modeling?
The creativity and the people. Every shoot I do is different. I LOVE waiting to see the results and how the images come out. I’ve met some amazing people whilst modelling and its so fun to see what we can create as a team.

Describe yourself in one sentence?
I’m a glass is half full kinda gal, what you see is what you get and I’m always up for having lots of fun.

When you’re not modeling, what do you do with your free time?
I love spending time with friends and family, so any social event I jump at the chance to enjoy. I’m also a keen scuba diver, so on the rare occasions when I have the time I like going for a dive.

If you weren’t a model what would you be?
I’d continue building my new business.

What are the Advantages of being a model?
Despite the obvious; getting your hair and makeup done by professionals *wink* I believe the main one is meeting people. I’ve met some amazing people through modelling and some of them have become friends.

What does your career do for you?
It makes me happy when I know I have achieved something and can see a result.

Have you reached your dream assignment?  If not, what would that dream assignment be?
My DREAM would be to be a campaign model for a major designer. To see myself in print or even a commercial campaign for a well known brand would be amazing.

Who’s your favorite photographer you’ve done a shoot with and why?
This is so hard! I’ve met some amazing photographers in my time and some have become real friends. Vincent, who was the photographer on this shoot was amazing! I’ve never worked with a photographer like him before, he’s acute, focused and a lovely guy!

Do you have any tips for non – models on how to look good in front of the camera?
Practice in front of the mirror. Know your angles and don’t be afraid to MOVE in front of the camera. The more variation you can give the photographer the better the photos will be.
