Jamila Mandisa is a 29 year old model born in Brooklyn, NY, but raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She began modeling back in 2008 during her college years where she instantly found it to be a passion. Jamila enjoys runway, but also does print and commercial modeling. She would love to inspire young women and women like herself to pursue their dreams, whatever it may be.
Tell us a little about yourself?
I have a daughter of my own and through me she will know that all things are possible with God, faith and hard work.
Where did you get the inspiration for your pictorial?
These photos were taken during two separate shoots. However, the concepts of both were created to show a sexy and more confident side of myself. I wanted to show other women that no matter what your story may be you can always re-write it and become whomever you choose to be, not what society says you have to be. There is beauty in the basics, in the natural.
